A therapist and a dietitian, working from one plan
Fallow is a small outpatient practice for adults in eating-disorder recovery. Regina sees you for therapy, Eugene for nutrition, and the two of them talk to each other so that you do not have to carry messages between rooms.

Who it is for
Who Fallow is a fit for
Adults, 18 and older, who are in recovery from an eating disorder or find that food and their body take up too much of the day.
You are in recovery and want a team
You see a therapist, you would like a dietitian who talks to her, and you want your own doctor kept in the loop.
You are starting again
You paused, stepped back or stopped care, and you want to begin without having to explain yourself first.
You want care without scales
We do not set goal weights, count calories or ask you to log meals. Any measurement medicine needs belongs to your doctor.
You may need more than we offer
Outpatient care is one level. If you need a higher one, we say so, and we help you find it.
Our approach
Recovery is slow, and it is rarely a straight line
Fallow is built for the long middle of recovery: the weeks after the first appointment, when the plan has to fit an ordinary week in Columbus, with work, family and meals that other people cook.
We take a weight-inclusive approach. Health is not measured by size here, and nobody at Fallow sets a goal weight or counts calories. Where medicine needs a measurement, it belongs to your doctor, and you decide with them how it is shared.
A field left fallow is not abandoned. It is resting, and it is what the next season grows from.

Your therapist
Regina Eaddy, LPC
Regina founded Fallow and sees every client for therapy. Her sessions are quiet and unhurried: she asks what the week was like and works from there.
She is licensed in Georgia as a professional counselor. In your first session she tells you which methods she uses and where she trained in each.
Sessions are 50 minutes
Evening appointments, Monday to Thursday
Adults, in person or by video

Your dietitian
Eugene Boyle, LD
Eugene is Fallow's partner dietitian. He starts where you are: with what you eat on an ordinary Tuesday, not with an ideal day.
He works with the plan you and Regina have set, and he is licensed in Georgia as a dietitian. He talks with Regina on a regular schedule, with your written permission.
Meal structure when it helps, never rules for their own sake
Practice with groceries, cooking and eating out, when you want it

When you need more than weekly outpatient care
Outpatient care is not right for everyone, and it can stop being right. Regina, Eugene and your doctor watch for the signs together. When a different level fits better, we say so and help you reach it.

How fees work
What nearly everyone asks before a first session.
Insurance we work with
Fallow is out of network with insurance plans, so you pay for each session yourself. We do not bill Medicare or Medicaid. If you would rather see someone who bills your plan, we will gladly share the names of colleagues in Columbus.
Out of network with every plan
No Medicare or Medicaid billing
If you pay yourself
You pay at the end of each session by card, including HSA and FSA cards. Your fee for therapy and for nutrition counseling is given to you in writing before you start. A limited number of reduced-fee places are open; ask how to request one. We ask for 24 hours' notice to change an appointment.
Receipts for reimbursement
Each month we give you an itemized receipt (a superbill) with the dates and the kind of session, which you can send to your plan, and your plan may reimburse part of out-of-network care. The plan decides. Therapy receipts carry a diagnosis code your insurer can see, and nutrition receipts may need a referral from your doctor.
An estimate in advance
If you pay without insurance, you have the right to receive a written Good Faith Estimate of what your care will cost before you start. We give you one before your first session. If the final bill is $400 or more above the estimate, you can dispute it. The estimate is not a contract.
Checking your benefits
We do not check benefits, because we do not bill your plan. If you want to know whether your plan reimburses out-of-network therapy or nutrition counseling, call it before the first session and ask.
Questions
What people ask before they write
Do you take my insurance?
We are out of network with insurance plans and do not bill Medicare or Medicaid. We give you a monthly receipt you can send to your plan. How fees work explains the rest.
Will you weigh me?
No. We do not weigh clients or set goal weights. If your doctor needs measurements, they take them, and you decide with them how they are shared.
Do I need a doctor before I start?
We ask that you have a physician or nurse practitioner who knows about your eating. If you do not, we can suggest clinicians in Columbus.
What if I need more support than weekly sessions?
We tell you, and we help you find the next level of care. The levels of care page describes each one.
Do you see people under 18?
No. Fallow sees adults, 18 and older.
